Micron Starts Work on $100B Chip Complex in New York...

(Thomas Net, Feb. 19) Leading memory chip manufacturer Micron Technology has begun construction on a $100 billion semiconductor production site in Clay, New York, marking the largest private-sector project in New York state history. The New York project is part of Micron’s broader expansion plan to invest about $200 billion in the US, a program expected to support about 90,000 jobs nationwide. (See link for details).
